First
Project
The
first project, which spanned a period of three years (1993-1996),
involved a 175-rai (70-acre) area of barren land in the
buffer zone of the Huay Kha Kaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, a
World Heritage site located in Ban Pubon, Amphoe Banrai,
Uthai Thani Province. Approximately 17,500 local trees were
planted, including neem trees, pterocarpus, wattle, governor's
plum, and other tropical plants. This project was completed
in 1996.
