    • Advised clients on Vietnamese intellectual property law and commercial law. Provided comments to the Vietnamese government on the draft implementing decrees to the Law on Intellectual Property. Advised Vietnam on the adoption of new criminal law provisions to help curb counterfeiting and piracy. Organized an international IP conference focusing on enforcement in Hanoi on the occasion of the APEC Summit, which was sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and was attended by 150 delegates. Through USAID's STAR Program, gave presentations on intellectual property law and enforcement to the Supreme Court of Vietnam and Hanoi Service of Trade. Prepared a position paper on the protection of pharmaceutical test data in Vietnam, and a position paper on intellectual property law in Vietnam for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. Lectured with customs officials on border measures for the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council in Ho Chi Minh City. Founded the first foreign law office in central Vietnam. Vietnam Correspondent for Managing Intellectual Property magazine.

    • Head of firm's Vietnam Intellectual Property Group. Advised on intellectual property law, including assisting clients with anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy matters, patent and trademark registration, and licensing.
    • Head of a team that received Asialaw magazine's Vietnam IP Firm of the Year award in 2006. Named a "Leading Individual" in intellectual property law in Vietnam by Asia-Pacific Legal 500. Assisted the Vietnamese government in drafting intellectual property legislation and trained Vietnamese officials (including judges) in regard to intellectual property law through the STAR program.
